My day started off with Alex Ybarra calling my name. He was barely awake with the covers tucked under his neck and his long legs hanging off the bed. "Mama," he called again not noticing I had entered his room, "I love you."
I told him I loved him, too. He repeated, "Mama, I love you." I responded, "I love you, too, Alex. How much do you need?"
When a teenager tells you twice he loves you it is a good indicator he needs cash.
"I don't need anything," he said with a huge grin, " I have a job! I don'tneed money. Just wanted to tell you I love you."
