Advice to my son about women.. 

 One day you will meet her, Alex Ybarra. The girl that today, you aren't sure exists. When that day comes, you will be glad you listened to me and waited for her instead of settling for someone else. She will be the one who won't try to lead you astray by trying to get you to sleep with her before marriage.. The one who knows how to dress in a way that is lovely and ...doesn't make anyone confuse her for something she's not.. And when you speak of your faith and your God she won't be confused because she will have that same faith, too. She will be patient allowing you to finish school knowing you are making a way for your future. She will join you in outreach and purpose and you won't have the burden of carrying her every emotional need because she has no idea who she is. She won't need to seek validation in friendships with other men because you will be her best friend. She will know the difference between honor and dishonor. You will see honor not only in how she treats you, but how she treats others, and the words she uses when she speaks and how she spends her time.

In the meantime, don't waste your life pining over anything or anyone that pulls you away from your God and your purpose, study hard, pray hard, and live your life in such a way that when this woman walks by she will recognize you as the one she has been praying for, too.
