- Ken went to a Celebrate Recovery meeting last night. He said it includes anger issues. He plans to go again. It isn't anger management or counseling, but its a start.
- Our property management people, after sending me a letter in the mail yesterday again saying they weren't fixing "anything" because I am renting this house "as is" sent a plumber over today to check our leak. The plumber said fortunately it was a minor fix since they didn't approve a big budget. I told him my story about the property management. He tells me this is typical and then he fixed the shower that has never worked. This was unauthorized work that he did on his own dime. (Second man that has fixed something in this house for me knowing he would most likely not be paid by property management.)
I still can't get over that Ken is attending some sort of recovery program. Not for myself but because the children deserve to have a "safe" father.
I'm in awe that I will no longer have water running into the living room. I am even more baffled that we have an entire new bath faucet now and working shower.
I am praising God for taking care of me and my little children despite how things seemed only a few days ago.
