Please pray for my son's brain tonight. Please pray that against the doctor's words God would heal the areas that have been damaged. If you feel led, please join me in praying for Isaiah every day. Please pray that God would make me the mommy he needs me to be. That I would know what to do when he rages.
Alex,
ReplyDeleteI am praying for Isaiah. I understand it's really hard to hear the Doctor say something like that. May God give you strength to handle situations!
About asking people's help, I was like you. I was too shy to ask people's help. But after Zaki's (my hubby) surgery I learned to do that too. There are so many times I have something in my hand I can't make work. And yeah, people do help, most of the times.
Now you take care.
Love,
Farah
Some people need to learn to ask for help. Some people need to learn to offer help (or learn that they do, in fact, have something to offer). It works both ways - at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAs a new Christian, I used to write down quotes and bits of scripture - tucking them in my Bible. I just found one - worn with age, so the attribution is not readable. "God is bigger than any problem I should have." Another is a quote from Corrie ten Boom: "My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. If I have need, He will sell some."
Know in the core of your being that God has a plan for you and for Isaiah.
Working on trust and contentment,
Laurie
