Hebrews 5:8 He learned obedience through what he suffered.
The Father doesn't want sacrifice. He doesn't want us serving until we pass out from exhaustion. He doesn't want us going and going and going. He doesn't want us attempting to be the foot when He has called us to be the hand. So, what does He want? He simply wants our obedience. Even Jesus when he was being taunted by Satan resisted the urge to fight back. He did this because He understood His calling, purpose, and anointing. He also didn't step out into that calling until it was God's timing. He spent the early parts of His life in fellowship and learning from the Father.
If you read 1 Samuel 15 you see what happens when someone steps out of God's timing and calling. Saul attempted to do the job of a priest when this isn't something God called nor anointed him to do. Verse 24 gives a warning about fearing the opinions of man more than doing God's will.
Are you stepping out from under God's protection by stepping out from under God's anointing, perfect timing, or calling? Jesus knew that all He did and does is to glorify the Father. He always pointed the attention back to the Father. Not my will, but as the Father wills... What is it that God is calling you to do? If you will submit your will to God, God will give you access to everything that you need to do the things He has called you to do. HIS yolk is easy and burden is light... If the burden you carry today isn't light, perhaps you are trying to be a priest and this isn't what God has made you to be?
