My Heart Seeks You

Speedy man's name is Marvin Davis. He sought me after church tonight and invited me to have dinner with he and his friends. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. His heart attracts me like I have never experienced in the past. The man next to me kept trying to engage me in conversation and was flirting with me like crazy. Yet, I had a difficult time doing anything but looking at Marvin's face. It was strangely familiar to me... My heart seeks you too, beloved man. The spirit in me is already cleaving to the spirit in you. I wondered if you could sense my thoughts. I also felt safe with him. Because of my childhood and difficult experiences with men, I do not usually trust easily and am normally a bit guarded. I didn't feel even the slightest trepidation with this man. After dinner, we talked in his truck until morning. I know I have met the most amazing person that has ever walked into my life.

Will your heart seek me, beloved man of God? Do you sense God pushing you towards me? Will this push cause you to act in boldness or run in fear? I know all too well that sometimes the presence and power of the almighty causes some to fear. I remember how the angels would have to encourage people to not be "afraid". I will continue to pray every day for God to speak to my new friend and help him to lead our relationship. May God grant us wisdom on this journey.
